it makes more sense when you separate the layers:
if i'd thought ahead, i would have photoshopped both uppercuts from a single template. in tracing one by hand to make the other, the outlines didn't match up nearly exact enough. ehh, experience.

redesign and re-redesign of "jack krack" from james kochalka's "superf*ckers" (asterisk his):
i'm planning to do a tribute to the cover of that trade and submit it to the "covered" blog (unsolicited). obviously it will be in my own style, but the idea is that they will look more like traditional superheroes than the cartoon parodies he created them as.
