stalker
little known character from series 1, 1982:
incidentally, i really like that these cobra viper costumes completely encase the soldier's head, but leave his arms exposed.
UPDATE: i just found out that stalker, a character i was never familiar with as a child, is the same character that was featured in a VERY familiar sculpt that i always thought look like a garbage man. small world!

minor characters
you've seen him on G.I. joe, but you don't know his name. it's "outback."

arise, serpentor
so, as i was drawing this, i realized that i wasn't imagining serpentor's cobra staff so much as jafar's, from aladdin. then i decided to go for it anyway.

double agent
the only thing that really makes storm shadow cool is that he keeps switching sides. if he'd stayed a bad guy or switched to a good guy and stayed there, he'd be boring. luckily, when he breaks into g.i. joe headquarters in every single issue, you're not sure if he's there on cobra business or just to chat.
